Comivis (Comunità Missionaria di Villaregia per lo Sviluppo – Missionary Community of Villaregia for Development) is a Catholic-inspired nongovernmental organization established in 2004. We believe that the person must be placed at the center of all social reflection and action.
We believe it is essential to listen to the demands, deep needs, and desires of which every human being is the bearer. It means believing that hope and the future are built together, looking towards others.
Every day we stand beside thousands of people in Africa and Latin America carrying out social projects in collaboration with the Missionary Community of Villaregia.
Where we carry out our projects
Africa:
Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Mozambique
Latin America:
Brazil, Lima, Mexico, Puerto Rico
We ensure that all children access to quality education to support their growth and build a better future
We accompany the skills development of young people and women to facilitate them to enter employment
We ensure access to medical care for the poorest, in territories where disease and malnutrition are very widespread
We believe that everyone has the right to healthy, quality food.
That is why we promote sustainable agricultural development techniques and good food practices
We promote global citizenship education pathways
for schools and associations in order to foster confrontation and the ability to embrace diversity
